Do you live and breathe social media and know the difference between a reel and story? We are an established online company selling Hair Extensions looking for passionate individuals to assist in our online growth plans. Established nearly 15 years ago, we sell direct to consumer and through salons. This is a varied role with potential for permanent appointment at the end of the placement.
We work hard here, but like to have a laugh too. The time goes quickly and there’s never a dull moment. In this role you will learn how to plan, source and analyse content, upload to a number of social media platforms using scheduling software and create on-brand captions and key messages. You will assist in idea generation, content generation and promotional events and will be taught how to engage with our followers on a professional level via business management platforms.
Duties will include managing and scheduling the upload of social media posts for company social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other relevant platforms. You will support the team in the development, execution and maintenance of the Social Media strategy by creating and writing copy for social media posts, helping optimise the engagement of the posts and analysing hashtags. You will learn how to analyse the success of social media content and carry out a weekly report. We will expect you to immerse yourself in the market, keeping abreast of social media news, updates and innovation and monitor and be reactive to key trends within our industry and report this back to the wider team.
This post will provide a great foundation for a career in the exciting world of social media and digital marketing and you will be encouraged to participate in online training and personal development opportunities to further your understanding of the industry.
We offer a range of employee benefits including generous annual leave, staff discount, casual dress code, free on-site parking / good public transport links and pension. Your placement will last for 6 months. After that time there may be the possibility to apply for a permanent role.

Full training will be provided on all in-house systems, but a level of confidence in using computers and IT, such as sending and receiving emails and using MS Office applications would be beneficial.

You will need to plan and prioritise your own workload, but we will give you lots of support as you get settled in.
