TAPE EXTENSIONS FAQ'S

The hair on Hair Rehab London Tape Hair Extensions lasts between 9-12 months with the correct care and maintenance. But remember to factor in regular maintenance. You will need to have your Tapes refitted (this is where your extensionist will remove the tape extensions with a tape remover solution and then refit with fresh replacement adhesive tape. This should be done every six to eight weeks.

If fitted correctly and maintained properly and regularly, tape hair extensions shouldn't damage your hair. Hair Rehab London Tape Extensions come with a scalloped top enabling you to cut into smaller sizes for more contoured areas of the head, minimising any traction on your own hair.

Many of our regular Tape Hair Extension customers report that wearing hair extensions can really reduce wear and tear on their own hair as less heat and product styling is required. Tapes can often hold curls longer than our own hair and we tend to take more care of extensions when playing sport or sleeping than we possibly may do with our own natural hair.

After nearly 17 years in the business we have come to learn there are many reasons why tape hair extensions may slip. Hair must be correctly prepared before fitting tapes. The tapes should be kept at optinum temperatue to avoid adhesive issues, just the right amount of hair must be sandwiched between the tapes and the wearers lifestyle should be taken into consideration. It's for this reason we always advise you use a qualified hair extensionist who has built up this type of knowledge over time and experience.
