Meet Hair Rehab Brand Ambassador Abbey Laird

The award-winning hair extensions brand Founded by Lauren Pope unveiled five Brand Ambassadors last week. Each talented individual has been carefully selected to spearhead the new Ambassador Programme, which seeks to acknowledge and elevate leading stylists within the industry.

Curated by the Hair Rehab London team, the new family of Ambassadors have been chosen for their expertise, creativity, and drive within the hair industry. Each also shares a passion for the Hair Rehab London brand and will help to drive forward excellence within the hair extensions/enhancement category, including scouting for future rising stars.

Best placed to promote innovation and creativity within this rapidly developing space, Brand Ambassadors gain access to Hair Rehab London’s elite community, with first-look access to new products and tools, enabling each individual to scale their work to new heights. We will introduce you to each of our Brand Ambassadors over the next few weeks.

First up is the lovely Abbey Laird of Luxe Studio in Ripley, Derbyshire.  Abbey has been fitting extensions since attending the Hair Rehab London Academy back in 2019. 

Trade Account Manager Lauren Wheatley explains why she put Abbey forward for the prestigious programme "I attended our academy with Abbey and her passion for hair was apparent from the get-go. She has always been a pleasure to work with and you can tell she strives to leave her clients feeling like the best possible version of themselves. I love that Abbey always provides us with different looks and isn’t afraid to try something new. Although she has only been offering extensions for a couple of years, I really believe that Abbey’s level of skill and determination is incredibly admirable."

At only 28, Abbey has been in the hair industry for 14 years already. Abbey Laird has since gone on to open her own salon in November 2021, no mean feat given the impact of covid on the industry over the last two years.  Abbey added “From when I initially undertook training with Hair Rehab London to where my own brand is now, using the products every day, it’s been a great journey to be on. So being selected to be a Brand Ambassador has felt like a wonderful natural step for both myself and Hair Rehab London as we now work closely together on an exciting future for the both of us.”
