Prettiest hair colours for 2022
This season it's all about expensive looking hair. Having spent the last 18 months home-dying, everyone is after that 'just left the salon' look.
High in demand across salons is Nectar Blonde, created by blending cool platinum with creamy, warmer tones making it much more flattering on the skin. To get a nectar blonde in our professional extensions range try a blend of Dirty Blonde with Ice Blonde or Blonde AF, for clip-in extension wearers, opt for Coachella Blonde. Ditch the purple shampoo with this one, instead opt for shampoo's with beige or gold tones to them. To really show off this shade, go for big and fluffy - channel your inner 90"s Supermodel.
Midnight Brunette is also a popular shade this season. It's dark and rich, with hints of warmth from chocolate tones. Professional extensions will allow for a bespoke blend of a Show Stopper base with flashes of Paparazzi Perfect and Gorgeous Gossip to give a multi-dimensional look. Clip-in extension wearers should opt for a brunette balayage such as Rooted Caramel or Rooted Bronze to achieve this season's popular brunette favourite.
Ribbon Blonde Balayage is all the rage right now. Originating in Australia, the technique involves ribbons of cooler blondes against a darker backdrop to achieve a dimensional cool sun-kissed look with ashy tones to help balance out warm skin (opt for more honeyed hues to warm up cool skin). Steel Blonde (available in our professional and clip-in extension ranges) is a great shade to achieve a perfect Ribbon Blonde Balayage.
Here to stay this season is Balay Bronde. But this season, it's a take on the classic blonde and brunette ombre but with the addition of a rose gold hue. Honey Blonde provides a great base for extensionists to build dimension on with the likes of Dirty Blonde and Blonde AF. Whilst Rooted Dirty Blonde can provide a quick alternative to clip-in extension wearers. Think Khloé Kardashian or Sarah Jessica Parker and that's the look you are going for.
3D Balayage is another popular technique this season. It's all about creating dimension and movement in the hair using multiple shades to achieve a blended, natural-looking effect. Jessica Beil pulls this balayage off perfectly. Try Smokey Brunette or Rooted Caramel as base shades blended with lighter shades such as Rooted Bronze or Rooted Boho from our professional range, or alternatively shop Rooted Bronze and Rooted Caramel in our clip-in extension range.
